  • Education:  Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Life and/or Food Science Degree
  •  PMP Certification is preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years in similar position
  • Managed projects and programs for the food and cannabis industry
  • Specific technical skills: SOP and program development, knowledge of regulations for food and Cannabis
  • Lab Testing experience – ability to review and analyses results
  • Product Label Review – understand regulations to review and validate
  • Effective communication, analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment are essential for this role.
  • Ability to chair meetings professionally and efficiently
  • Post graduate training in project management strongly preferred but not essential with demonstrated experience in a mature project management environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, multi-task and meet strict deadlines. 
  • Keeping in scope and on budget
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) with strong presentation skills
  • Skilled use of MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Project is required
  • Ability to work well with others & independently.
  • Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Extended hours may be required from time to time.
